To fulfil our aims we have already embarked on the development of some of these facilities.
Land Purchase
We purchased 20 acres of freehold property on the boundary of the South Downs National Park.
Sustainable income – Southdown Way Caravan and Camping Park
To provide a sustainable income stream towards running costs a Caravan & Camping Park of outstanding quality has been built. This is proving successful and has potential for further development.
Dedication
To ensure the continued protection of the land and properties thereon the Trustees have Dedicated the property in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11 as a playing field and recreation ground protected for the benefit of the Blind and Partially Sighted and Disabled People and their families.
Where it does not conflict with the objects of the charity the field may be used by able bodied people. Within West Sussex, East Sussex, Brighton and Hove and Thereabout. Volunteers to be recruited to assist the blind and partially sighted and disabled people and to work with visiting groups. Offering volunteers the opportunity and training to expand their knowledge and expertise.
